Farmers Markets - now includes Alford

Aberdeen. first and last Saturday of the month
Banchory, third Saturday of the month
Inverurie, second Saturday of the month
Huntly, first Saturday of the month.

.....and now Alford Farmers' Market ....... the good news is that it is to become a monthly feature of village life out here......last Saturday of every month starting 31st October 2009, from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Many of the traders sold out before lunch on the trial market in September so get there early for the fresh produce and bargains.

We had about 12 traders last time and have had a lot more interest so there could be many more, but the more the merrier.....anyone interested please contact the Alford Heritage Centre on 019755 62906. We are also looking to include a local charity stall each month free of charge.....and there will be entertainment too to help make the whole experience enjoyable.

So why not visit the local Farmers' Market, help improve the area's carbon footprint by shopping locally, and support local traders both in the market and in the village.
