Home-Start Deeside

Home-Start Deeside are currently looking for volunteers to attend their next preparation course at the Hilton Craigendarroch in Ballater starting on the 27th October 2010.

Home-Start volunteers visit families with at least one child under 5 years each week in their own homes to provide friendship and support. Families that Home-Start support are having difficulties and benefit from a little bit of extra help. This families may need help due to illness or disability of a child or because of post-natal illness, bereavement or loneliness.

All volunteers are required to undergo enhanced disclosure.
