Silver Circle Day Centre

Our Day Centre is held each Wednesday in the Upper Hall of the Lonach Hall from 10 am till 3pm.
A place where older people meet to enjoy each others company and have a good blether!
Activities on offer if requested include table games such as scrabble, chess, rumikub and lots more. Craft activities from time to time include knitting, sewing,decoupage, bead making, card making etc etc.
Visiting musicians and speakers are arranged from time to time.
A subsidised hot lunch is provided in the hall.
The day centre is staffed by a paid Organiser and her Assistant with the help of several volunteers.
An opportunity to have a weekly outing to look forward to, a chance to meet old friends and make new ones. Have you recently moved in to the area and want to know what goes on? The Day Centre is a good place to start.
The Silver Circle also organises a fortnightly Lunch Club, a weekly Shopping bus, a Monthly Book Club and a Hospital Volunteer Driver Scheme.
